Hello, welcome to the Freedom Runners, a therian pack. We are NOT role playing, and if you think we are, click that little X button at the top of your screen. Here at the Freedom Runners, I will not take your "Fun" of making my brothers and sisters feel bad, because you don't believe us. Here everyone will be treated with respect and given love. As alpha female, my duty is to make sure everybody is happy as well as keep order. We do not ask for face-to-face meetings because we are an online pack. This pack is a home for those who are different; Those who have more animalistic personalities. Therians (Therianthrope/Therianthropy) are a group of people who share spiritual and/or psychological identification with animals. These people seem to relate more with animals rather than people. They sometimes act out in animalistic impulses. You must not mistake therians for furries. The difference between the two as quoted from the Therian Guide: " Therians are often confused for furries, however there is a huge difference between the two.
I ran through the forest, searching for them. I run faster than I ever had. I had not eaten for two days and I was hungry. I could smell the elk. I hear the thundering hooves; they had spotted me. I run slowly behind the herd, picking the youngest or weakest prey. I found it. An old elk that has broken a leg. He shall be my target. I race after the herd. Tripping over a rock I stumble forward, but I can't stop now, not when I was so close. I gather my strength. And I race after the herd again. But this time my family is with me. Together we surround the old elk and I target the best place to attack; the throat. I lunge with the rest of my energy and I take him down. Then one by one, we grab his throat till he stopped breathing. My family and I feast on what was our only meal for days.
The Hunt - Karina
You searched through the night, searching, for someone to take you in. You were weak, and might not last much longer. Then you catch the scent of a fresh kill, you know that if you continue forward, you might get attacked, but if you don't eat, you will starve. Your hunger, leads you forward. Then you look straight ahead, and you see a female wolf with a white coat, and bright green eyes, she glares at you, the growls a soft growl, as a warning. "I don't know you." she says. You explain to her your story, and she explains that she is Lone Wolf, the dominant female of the Freedom Runners pack. She offers you to join, and you agree. You take a look, at all of the wolves around you, they all stare, and and to your astonishment, they state, "Welcome to the Freedom Runners, where no brother or sister left behind." You smile at them, and one by one, they back away from the kill, it was the largest moose you have ever seen. You warily step forward, your paws, sore, from running. You stretch your head forward, afraid, they will put you in your place, but they stay still watching your every move. You are shocked that they let you eat first, since you are the new omega of the pack. You take a bite and gulp it down, then finish all you can eat, after you have eaten, the rest of the pack gulps down the last of the carcass, then Lone Wolf, gives out a loud howl, the dominant, male follows, and so does the rest of the pack, you howl last, as you know it is your place. You are no longer alone, you have finally found the comfort of a family.

~Being the Hunted~
It was hunting season. And the pack knew this was fatal to us. So we moved to our hide out as quickly as we could. Then I heard them coming. We all did. So the pack and I ran as fast our legs could take us. Then we heard the gunshot. Birds scattered above us. We knew they were aiming for us and we knew they missed. Then, another shot. The creek was coming up, and after that, we'd be safe. Then we all jumped over the creek. But just as I did, the gunshot happened again. But this time I was hit. I was hit in my lower stomach. I fell partly in the creek. The hunters stopped and went to see what they did. I faked being killed, then the pack attacked. They ripped up the guns and scared off the hunters. When they got back to me, I knew they wanted me to come back with them in case there were more hunters. But I said no since i could feel the bullet opening and getting bigger every second. I knew I'd never be of any use because the condition I was in. I knew I would die. The pack and I did one last howl together. Then I layed my head down, and heard the last of the pack.
